Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month was celebrated in Los Angeles City Council Chambers with awards and recognitions honoring community members. Olympic and Paralympic athletes were recognized for their achievements and contributions, along with artist Jian Lee, whose artwork was selected for the City’s 2026 AANHPI Heritage Month calendar and cultural guide.
