Hands Holding Earth

On Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm the City of Los Angeles will participate in Earth Hour.  Around the globe, millions of people, businesses, and landmarks set aside an hour to switch off their lights, host events, and raise awareness to take action on climate change. Last year, our City buildings
participated along with 178 countries and over 400 of the world’s most iconic landmarks.

The City of Los Angeles has taken many actions to protect the environment and transform our City in the decades to come. The Sustainable City pLAn sets the course for a cleaner environment and a stronger economy, with a commitment to equity as its foundation.
