Earn. Learn. Play.

LOS ANGELES - The Youth Development Department (YDD) is pleased to announce that it has relaunched its Earn Learn Play website at https://earnlearnplay.lacity.gov/ featuring a more user-friendly interface and more youth programming and services.

Earn Learn Play is a centralized portal that will continue to provide youth, their caretakers and families with information on hundreds of free and low-cost recreational, educational, and paid internship programs available within the City of LA.

Using the Earn Learn Play’s interactive map, youth and their guardians can enter their zip codes and find programming opportunities near them to earn, learn, and play over the summer.

"I am thrilled to see our commitment to providing valuable resources for the youth in our community continue to expand," YDD General Manager Lisa Salazar said. "The relaunch of Earn Learn Play signifies a new chapter of growth and opportunity, where city programs and services can be easily found with a simple interactive map. We are dedicated to our mission of helping make a positive and equitable impact in the lives of LA youth and their families."

YDD has collaborated with more than 20 City of LA Departments to include their youth-oriented services and programs on the site, expanding program reach and accessibility for all LA youth.

Earn Learn Play is an initiative of the Youth Development Department (YDD), the offices of Mayor Karen Bass, Councilmember Monica Rodriguez, LA Unified and GPSN which leads the Summer of Joy initiative.
