ANNUAL SALARY

For trainee positions: $80,534 to $103,543 

For journey-level positions: $92,602 to $115,048

DUTIES

A journey-level Utility Line Clearance Tree Trimmer (ULCTT) inspects, climbs, trims, and removes trees and/or vegetation that interfere with or are in proximity to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) infrastructure for regulatory compliance, to eliminate hazards and prevent interference with utility lines and equipment; acts as a mentor to ULCTT Trainees, Tree Surgeon Assistants (TSAs), and laborers in various phases of Vegetation Management activities and LADWP infrastructure related duties. Performs Vegetation Management and infrastructure related duties around hazardous working conditions, including at various heights and around energized lines, and performs related work.
