More than 40 organizations came together with one goal: helping Los Angeles youth stay safe, engaged, and on the path to success this summer.
Now in its third year, the Safe Summer Initiative brings together community partners including the LA Rams, UCLA, USC, the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department, and the Los Angeles Police Department to connect youth and families with valuable summer opportunities.
The event provides access to internships, sports programs, educational resources, and community services designed to help young people build a brighter future. The initiative also highlights the Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) program, which continues to foster long-term relationships with students and families throughout Los Angeles.
By partnering with City agencies and community organizations, the Safe Summer Initiative helps ensure local parks remain safe, welcoming spaces where families can access support, discover new opportunities, and stay connected to resources that promote success all summer long.
