Bloomberg Awards Los Angeles a Gold Certification For Its Use of Data

In its inaugural year, the Bloomberg Foundation has awarded its top gold certification honor to the City of Los Angeles for its work in being a data-driven city. The work of ITA’s Data Science Federation and the Mayor’s Open Data and i-Teams were featured.

Mayor Garcetti noted, “Data shines a light on the problem and inspires targeted action. It allows us to be more proactive, more efficient, and more engaging.”
