The California Science Center New Exhibits
Discover a place where curiosity comes to life at the California Science Center—one of Los Angeles’ top destinations for hands-on learning and exploration.
The Science Center invites visitors of all ages to “do science” and “do engineering” through interactive exhibits designed to spark creativity and discovery.
Step into the world of Mummies of the World, a special exhibition featuring rare mummies never before seen in Los Angeles. Through advanced CT scan technology, visitors can explore the science behind both naturally and intentionally preserved humans and animals from South America, Europe, and Egypt.
Explore dynamic ecosystems from around the globe—including desert, polar, and ocean environments—and experience the Center’s iconic 188,000-gallon kelp forest tank. See marine life up close and learn how ecosystems are connected and how we can help protect them.
At the Game On exhibit, science meets sports. Test your skills through interactive activities like kicking and throwing while learning about the science behind movement—an experience that will continue through the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
Best of all, general admission is always free. Whether you're a student, a family, or simply curious, the California Science Center offers an engaging, educational experience filled with hands-on exhibits, live animals, and space exploration content. Plan your visit and experience science in action.
