L.A. City Department of Cultural Affairs General Manager Daniel Tarica invites Angelenos to learn about and take part in Lunar New Year, a tradition celebrated across many Asian cultures for thousands of years. This year marks the Year of the Horse, a symbol of passion, energy, and fresh ideas.

Lunar New Year events will be held throughout Los Angeles and are free and open to the public. Highlights include Korean Night Market, the Lankershim Block Party in North Hollywood, and the annual Golden Dragon Parade in Chinatown to name a few.
