Council Celebrations Welcome the Start of 10th Annual LA Fleet Week
The Los Angeles City Council welcomed the Navy Band Southwest to perform in Council Chambers in recognition of the U.S. Navy and LA Fleet Week.
The performance was part of a presentation marking the 10th anniversary of LA Fleet Week and recognizing the service of the sailors and Marines in attendance, many of whom have family ties to Los Angeles.
Held annually throughout the city, LA Fleet Week provides opportunities for residents and service members to connect through a variety of community events and activities.
