Earn While You Learn: How Angeleno Corps Changes Lives in LA
What is Angeleno Corps?

Angeleno Corps is a 10-month City of Los Angeles program that gives young adults ages 18 to 30 the opportunity to gain real-world work experience while serving their communities.

The program places 350 participants with more than 50 community-based organizations across six service areas: education and child care; health, climate and environmental justice; immigration assistance; nutrition and food justice; technology and digital assistance; and housing rights advocacy.

Participants receive a $1,000 monthly stipend, individualized mentorship, professional development training, and support through the City’s YouthSource Centers. Corps members must also be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary education program.

By combining education with hands-on community service, Angeleno Corps helps young adults build professional skills, gain valuable experience, and explore potential career paths while making an impact across Los Angeles.
