Exposition Park: Preparing to host the World and the Olympic Games
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Exposition Park General Manager Andrea Ambriz, state leaders, and community partners announced a $100 million investment in Exposition Park. The park is a 160-acre state property and home to four museums, four stadiums, and two schools. It has not received a major investment since 1984.
With the Olympic Games coming to Los Angeles, the funding will support needed repairs and upgrades across the park. The project will create about 300 jobs and make the park easier to access for everyone. The effort brings together city, state, and federal leaders, along with community and labor partners. Their work will improve nearby neighborhoods and benefit future generations.
