Honoring Fallen Caltrans Crew Members in Los Angeles
A sea of orange filled the area recently as Caltrans District 7 workers gathered for their annual memorial. The moving event honored 32 crew members who tragically lost their lives while keeping Los Angeles highways safe.

In a district where motorists travel 99 million miles every day, road crews face constant danger. These dedicated workers repair potholes, fences, and guardrails to ensure the traveling public stays safe. However, they face extreme risks from fast traffic, hazardous conditions, and distracted drivers.
