Inside the Star-Studded Youth Clinic at Obama Sports Complex
Basketball royalty Antonio Davis touched down in Los Angeles this week to give back to the next generation. The Legends of Basketball hosted a free clinic at the Michelle and Barack Obama Sports Complex, bringing together stars from the NBA, WNBA, and Harlem Globetrotters.

The event was about much more than just jump shots. Professional athletes mentored students from second to ninth grade, using sports to teach essential life skills. "Sports taught me discipline and how to believe in myself," one leader shared. The goal is to help kids become "something far greater" than they ever imagined.

While not every child will turn pro, the lessons learned on the court—like teamwork, hard work, and staying active—last a lifetime. By stepping away from screens and onto the court, local youth gained the confidence to tackle challenges in the classroom and beyond.
