LA Is for Everyone: LA Kicks Off 5th Annual Week of Inclusion & Unity
Los Angeles recently marked the fifth annual LA Is for Everyone Week, a citywide effort led by the Los Angeles Civil Rights Department to promote belonging, inclusion, solidarity, and civic participation.
Created in response to rising hate and discrimination, LA Is for Everyone has grown into more than a slogan. It reflects the City’s commitment to making sure every Angeleno feels seen, supported, and included.
During the event, City leaders highlighted programs such as REPAIR, community partnerships, and public education efforts like Know Your Rights outreach, all aimed at connecting residents with resources and creating more opportunities for communities to help shape local policies and priorities.
The message remained simple: Hate has no home here. LA is for everyone.
