LA’s Caribbean Heritage Festival 2026
South Los Angeles came alive with vibrant music, delicious food, and cultural traditions as neighbors gathered for the annual Caribbean Heritage Festival. The celebration highlighted the rich heritage, shared history, and cultural connections between the Caribbean and African American communities.

Families enjoyed authentic Caribbean cuisine, traditional clothing, music, dancing, and activities for children. Attendees proudly represented countries from across the Caribbean region, including Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Haiti. Beyond the festivities, the event celebrated cultural identity, resilience, and the importance of community representation.

Organizers hope to continue expanding the festival each year, with a long-term vision of bringing a large-scale Caribbean Carnival to Los Angeles, inspired by celebrated events in New York City and Toronto.
