Small businesses in the West San Fernando Valley recently received financial support through the Microenterprise Grants Program, administered by the LA City Economic & Workforce Development Department and Councilmember Bob Blumenfield. Recipients can use the funds to cover back rent or utilities, build inventory, or improve store security, among other needs.

Small businesses are widely recognized as the city’s economic engine, driving job creation, generating tax revenue, and keeping local communities running. Councilmember Bob Blumenfield also offers assistance to help constituents navigate bureaucracy and ensure city services work effectively for them.
