Things To Do in L.A. (for the weekend of May 15th)
The City's annual family festival “Salute to Recreation” takes place Friday, May 15th to Sunday, May 17th at Northridge Recreation Center. The three days of fun activities will include teen night, sports tournaments, senior dance, and battle of the bands. Fun for the whole family.

Los Angeles Public Library is celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities in LA at AAPI Joy. This free festival for all ages will explore AAPI voices - then and now, and help forge a shared future of acceptance and inspiration with the greater LA community. The day-long festival includes performances, talks, crafts, and more beginning with a lion dance at 11am. AAPI Joy takes place on Saturday, May 16th, from 11am to 4pm.

Rec and Parks along with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association presents a wheelchair basketball skills camp on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th. Westwood Recreation will host youth and adult clinics made possible by the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. There will be special guest appearances by Team USA Paralympians. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
