The World’s ONLY Complete Space Shuttle on Display
The California Science Center just revealed the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. It is the only place on Earth where guests can see a complete space shuttle stack standing tall up close!
The 20-story building holds the shuttle Endeavour, its giant fuel tank, and two rocket boosters. Builders raised the open tower with no support columns, placing the shuttle inside during construction.
Opening November 13, 2026, the new facility features more than 100 aerospace artifacts and 100 hands-on exhibits exploring aviation, space exploration, and the science behind human flight.
Located in LA's Exposition Park, the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center is designed to inspire curiosity, spark imagination, and make science and engineering accessible to everyone.
